Mugsy the Moose

Marc's kindergarten teacher passes around "Mugsy the Moose". Mugsy spends one night at each child's house. While the child has Mugsy, they have to "journal" what they did with him. This activity is to encourage handwriting practice. Marc has been waiting, sometimes impatiently, for his turn to bring Mugsy home. He was SO excited when it was his turn. He spent all afternoon and evening doing some of his favorite things with his new buddy Mugsy.
When he took him back to school this morning, he got to tell the other kids what he did with Mugsy and then got to be the "helper" for the day. As the helper he had quite the list of responsibilities. He got to o weather, calendar, # of days of school, line leader, among several small "jobs" during group time. He was SO excited to be the "star" today, and I was the parent helper in the room today. :)

Squeakers!

When we went down to Arkansas over the summer, my sister-in-law, Melisa, and her husband, Paul we kind enough to send us home with 4 trash bags full of clothes that their kids couldn't fit in any more. We have used many of them already. :) One of my favorites is a pair of shoes for Samantha...they squeak when she walks!!!! When she wore them for the first time, my first thought was "oh man, those are annoying!"...then I began to think "oohh, I will always know when she is on the move and where she is!".....and now I think "those shoes are just too darn cute!".

This video is for you Aunt Missey and Uncle Paul...hope you enjoyed it!! :) We love and miss you guys!
