Hide the Kleenexes!

While I was in the kitchen getting breakfast for everyone this morning, Samantha found the box of Kleenex. I asked Marc to go see what his sister was doing. He came back in the kitchen and said she was pulling out Kleenexes. He was right! She had about half the box out on the floor. I had to take a picture before telling her "No!"

Yummy!

Samantha had pizza with the rest of for dinner the other night. She LOVED it. We have never seen her eat so fast! Oh, how times are changing. She is eating more and more "people" food.

Beach Day

Marc had beach day at preschool last week Wednesday. He got to wear shorts, his crocs, sunglasses, and his hat to school. Each child brought in bite-sized fruit to share for snack. The kids got to sit on their beach towel on the floor eating fresh fruit. It was a nice change to go in shorts during 40 degree weather.

Preschool Carnival

Marc had his preschool carnival Friday night. He woke up at 4:00 from his nap with a fever of 103 degrees. So, I went to the preschool early and rushed his through most of the games before most of the people got there while we waited for Daddy to pick him up. I was on them planning committee so I had to stay. Here are some of the pictures of him playing the games.
Playing the golfing game....
Playing the football toss game.....
Playing the Plinko game......
Even though he was only there for about 20 minutes, I think he still had a good time. :)

Sickness strikes the Stoufer household

Sorry there haven't been any posts lately. We all have had influenza. We all had the fever, stuffy nose, rattly cough and the whole works. I think we might be on the road to recovery. Yeah!

Our baby is growing up!

We have begun giving Samantha more finger foods to try. She is loving every minute of the new flavors! We gave her some Pasta Pick-Ups ravioli. It took her awhile to take the first bite, but once she tasted it, she loved them! And she got it all over her face and in her hair........
So, after dinner, she got a bath. For the first time I put her in the regular tub with some toys to play with. She had fun splashing in the water.
After her bath we wrapped her up in her new Princess towl to dry her off and warm her up.
On Saturday we had spaghetti for dinner, and as always, we gave her a taste of it. Her face lit up like a Christmas tree so I decided to cut up some for her for dinner. So, my little baby girl had "big people" spaghetti for dinner. {sigh}

Fun Day at the Museum

My brother was in town to celebrate my Mom's birthday so he came to Cedar Springs to spend the day with us, really my kids ;) We decided to go to the Grand Rapids Public Museum to see the Dinosaur exhibit. Marc had fun "driving" the car at the museum.
The Dinosaur exhibit was cute. There were several animatronic dinosaurs. There was a bin with dinosaur "bones" buried in rice and brushes for the kids to use to uncover the bones. Uncle Jeff helped. There was a station for the kids to put on a dinosaur puppet show.
The museum had an exhibit called "The Street of Old Grand Rapids". One of the "shops" they had was an old fashion soda fountain. There is an old fashion soda fountain in AR that we go to when we go down there so daddy was preparing Marc for when we go.
There is an old time trolley that people can climb on so we got a cute picture of our kids with Uncle Jeff.
There is a room with all kinds of dolls. In the room with the dolls there is a tea party, so Daddy had a tea party with the kids.

Time is flying!

Well, we went the a party supply store over the weekend and got stuff for Samantha's first birthday party. Time is flying! It seems like just yesterday that I was in the hospital having her. I can't beleive that I am planning her 1st birthday already! Wow!

6th Tooth!

Samantha's 6th tooth finally popped through on Saturday. While she got all the other teeth, you never would have thought she was teething, but this 6th tooth really got her good. She had a fever off and on for about a week, she was cranky, and she slept a lot more then usual. I am just glad that it is in and no hopefully she can get back to be the happy, smiling, giggling little girl she is.
