They all lined up in the front and sang a couple of songs. They then got their diplomas.
After the kids got their diplomas, they came and sat with their families until everyone got them. They left their diplomas with us so they wouldn't get wrinkled or ruined as they finished their program.
After they gave their diplomas to us, the kids went back up to the front and sang a couple of songs. My favorite was "We're off to Kindergarten". This was a song about how they are too big and smart to be in preschool, so they are off to kindergarten. It was super cute. If you see Marc ask him to sing it for you.They ended the program with a slide show that consisted of pictures from the beginning of the year to the end. It was set to "Angles Among Us" by Alabama. (All the kids are called Angels in the classroom). The kids sang the chorus of the song during the slide show. That song gets to me on a normal day, let alone having my son sing it and having a slide show playing in the background. I was soooooo close to tears. I was video taping it so I was so concentrating on making sure it was a good video it saved me from carying a river. (I am getting goose bumps while I write this). Preschool has been a great experience and he is more than ready (academically and socially) to go to kindergarten.
It was an awesome and moving program!
