Copy Cat

Samantha has begun to mimic sounds that people make even more than she used to. She has figured out how to make the "kissing" noise that I make when I give her lots of kisses. She will even bend down and put her mouth against your cheek as she makes the noise. It is super cute!! Enjoy the video! :)

New Favorite Food

The other night we had salad's with leftover ham for dinner. We asked Marc what he wanted for dinner. We told him several different things we could do with the ham (sandwich, crackers w/ham & cheese, just warmed up, cut up ham, or a salad) He told us he wanted a salad. That absolutely floored us! He has told us that he doesn't like lettuce. So, we made him a salad. As you can tell by the following picture, he gave it a thumb's up. When he finished it, he said he was still a little hungry and wanted "a little bit more salad".

Happy Mother's Day!

I had a wonderful Mother's Day! I woke up to my husband making me pancakes for breakfast...yummy! Then, when Marc got up, he brought up my Mother's Day gifts. It was a box of chocolates and a box of crayons. ;) (When I graduated last week Marc bought me flowers and jewelry so he said the only thing left to get me was chocolate. We will be traveling to AR to visit my in-laws with a detour in Kansas City. In Kansas City there is a Crayola store that the preschool teacher in me is very excited to go to. He put cash in the box of crayons for me to spend any way I want to in the Crayola store.) After gifts we went to church and then came for lunch. Marc cooked me, my Mom, and my Grandma a yummy lunch of ham, cheesy potatoes, fruit salad, corn, and rolls...with warm apple pie w/ice cream for dessert. YUMMY!

I am very blessed to have a wonderful husband and 2 terrific children. God sure has been good to me!

We tried to get some pictures of me and the kids, but Samantha wanted nothing to do with it, so this is the best of the bunch!
